Choosing Your Nose

🎭 The Hard Questions

What SHAPE nose do you want?

From classic and round to contoured and realistic, to angular and odd — nose shapes are as varied as body shapes.
Round noses are neutral, giving you space to build a character from the inside out.
Realistic shapes hint at personality traits you can develop into a full clown persona.
Unique shapes speak directly to clear, recognizable attitudes and quirks.

What SIZE nose do you want?

Small noses tend to look graceful or approachable, while larger noses are usually funnier. A tiny nose on a large, round face can be hilarious. A wide nose on a slender face can also be comical. If you want to look extra cute or approachable, go small. If you want big laughs, go large!

What COLOR nose do you want?

Our signature Clown Red is bright and crisp. We also offer Deep Red, plus a rainbow of popular colors (including skin tones) chosen for their “Pop.” The clown world has no rules — your nose can be inspired by places, times, animals, emotions, or dreams. Dare to be different and be courageous!

What FINISH do you want?

Matte: soft and natural, reflecting very little light — great for an everyday clown.
Gloss: shiny and “out-of-this-world,” bouncing light for a bigger stage presence.

✨ Glitter?

Glitter noses add sparkle and flair. Red glitter is a favorite, but we offer bold shades like pink, purple, and even black! Perfect for festivals, holidays, or whenever you want to shine a little brighter.

🎉 The Fun Stuff!

Do you want to look cute or funny?

Smaller noses = cute. Larger noses = funny. But contradiction makes magic — tiny nose on a big face? Hilarious. Big nose on a narrow face? Equally funny.

Does your clown character move fast or slow?

Smaller noses tend to feel quick and spritely. Larger noses feel slower and more deliberate. Use this to complement or play against your clown’s physicality.

Who is your audience?

Performing for children in hospitals or elder care? Smaller noses are more gentle and approachable. On stage, outdoors, or at a festival? Go big and bold!

Traditional or alternative?

There are no rules in clowning. You can embrace tradition, or you can invent something wild with unusual colors, shapes, or glitter. The choice is entirely yours.
